Castro's pretty cool, but always gravitated to PC, since Pocket Casts also has the queue....plus a web player (which is crucial for me, as a lot of listening happens at desktop).

Castro for podcasts because of the inbox queue (https://www.arun.is/blog/double-queue/) and Reeder for RSS plus high signal to noise Twitterers.

yeah. i particularly miss google reader. one of the reasons I love (and pay for) feedbin is they provide you an email address to use for newsletters. 

someone should build a "reader" for casts: no "feeds", treat profiles as blogs, filter out replies or show threads.

RSS is still where I go to read the deeper thinkers. Pro tip: Substack newsletters have RSS feeds.
