Who’s building tokenized LinkedIn? Onchain credentials, proof of employment, earn tokens for job referrals, etc.

I hear https://heirloom.io/ was doing this an working with Universities to have issued credentials I think it requires so much buy in from institutions and onboarding users is a pain too Not to mention the cold start problem is incredibly difficult to solve

at one time, a group called third academy was exploring a credential blockchain but not sure what came of it. i always thought souldbound poaps would be good way to do this but dunno who’s doing what these days. 🧐 https://aijourn.com/embracing-poaps-nfts-beyond-personal-art-collections/

I feel like it’s too centralized of an idea, requiring too much buy in. I think it’ll end up being more convenient for each org to just handle distributing their own NFTs if they want to. That way they can fully control, manage, and distribute it w/o a random org.

Sounds like a great idea in theory, but why would people switch from LinkedIn for something that may not have many benefits for the individual user? And by extension, how do you get to a network effect?
