How would (sufficiently?) decentralized DMs work? Centralized DMs is one of the main reasons I come back to Warpcast. Seems like it would be an unlock if clients could share DMs.

Currently deploying. Unofficial head platypus of /lp 

merkle has the tech for it on lockdown for a reason, it gives them the user advantage edge specifically for WC.

I'd think the ultimate goal would be to grow the network and WC is a showcase for the tech. Agree DMs is a good moat if moat is the goal. Would love to hear from the FC team on this.

The main priority is grow the network. 

DCs are good for retention, not for growth.

We are chipping away at a long tail of performance improvements for DCs. Getting direct cast performance in a client to Telegram-level is non-trivial.

We will make direct casts interoperable and then decentralized. Just a matter of prioritization.
