I've been married for 4 years. I don't understand how I managed to hold on for so long, because I don't love my husband and never have. He is wonderful, intelligent, kind, successful, very handsome. But before meeting him I was already in love with another man, the relationship with whom was like a typhoon. We were living on the edge. I have never loved anyone so much in my life and will never love again. But he and I had a huge fight. Usually always reconciled quickly, but here each went on principle, both went to work, did not notice each other. I cried all the time, but in front of everyone I said I didn't care at all. #life #history #interesting

The Ascent of Money A financial history of the world, as the subtitle says. I read this on the grounds of its appearance on https://danromero.org/books/. It covers a lot of the history and basic mechanics of fundamental concepts like currency, securities, and insurance in readily understandable and tolerably entertaining ways. I have to admit that this was a bit like eating vegetables. If you work or live in the crypto orbit and you want to increase your fluency in tradfi, this is a great starting point. But it wasn’t as fun or interesting as I’d expected, given my interest in finance. Shoutout to the Scottish widows, though. They always edify and entertain. Three stars for its class, but it’s a tough class to compete against. Overall a good book.

Good day to you all! I started a relationship with a woman with 2 children. We lived happily, but she said she didn't want to have a child together. Now I'm 38 years old. How can I accept the fact that I will not have my own child? I decided to stay in their family and accept everything as it is, but I am worried that I am the last in the family. Are there any other similar cases where a stepfather raised non-native children as his own, but never gave birth to a native child? #life #history #interesting

@deorontu My mom wanted to have a baby. So what? All women want children, except my mom is 43 years old. She had me when she was 19 and now she's obsessed with the idea that this is her last chance to have a baby. Except there are two things: she's single and she doesn't even have a potential suitor. Okay, we can end up with a donor, but then the second nuance is that we don't have that kind of money..... #life #history #interesting
