imo crypto people should get out of the "improvement proposals" circle and just implement stuff. get adoption, write spec if you want others to build with your thing. i don't care if you are any ERC (or other) coauthor, i care about who uses your stuff.

- most ideas don’t pan out
- cost of decentralizing is large

if you front load the cost to decentralize you end up making very little progress since the majority of the resources get spent decentralizing things that don’t get used

spending more time figuring out what before means more resources spent building useful things and more resources to work on decentralization of them

This is the worst possible attitude for anything decentralized.

There’s probably a middle ground here. Implement and openly request code reviews. There’s a lot of value in peer reviewed code in terms of adoption post-deployment.
