it was a really valuable experience

ran arch with no GUI and mastered tmux + vim

skills I learned back then give me an advantage today

amazing. before we even had containers i was maintaining massive bash scripts by testing them on a shitty dell box i don’t even remember the specs of 😅

out of necessity I had been on sub par windows laptops for the last few years and then last year picked up my first macbook in a while. forgot how good life is on the other side.

also yes, tmux and vim rule (I'm a lightweight here but damn can you lock in with that setup).
