it’s a recognition of consumer behavior over the last 3 years. “luxury” doesn’t inherently mean expensive, but refers to goods valued on the basis of taste/narrative. onchain media is a luxury good — the internet wants free distribution, and the blockchain allows us to attach story/identity (luxury)

I’m somewhat against it as in the end we want quality nice things but luxury is pretty my much rooted in have and have nots. I’m ok with opting in or out of something. But conversely my pure simple rat brain is also just like yea, i’ll take the op name brand item(s) if i can have it
