Didn't they tell us the same about TV, computers, video games and even internet back then? Either we are already re-wired or this is yet another of those research imho.

this is a little different as it actually deals with the effect of de association especially in regard to depth perception but certainly take with a grain of salt. Would absolutely suggest at least reading the article before forming an opinion.

I appreciate it! I did read it, or at least one pretty similar to this one. I just feel there are always those research against the tech trend and I end up not believing any of them. (I don't own a VR deck, nor I plan to buy one).

I would liken it more to how increased hours sitting at computer desks can have a physical impact on spinal health, rather than some existential risk of societal collapse or the degeneration of youth from overuse. The results may be clinically relevant, rather than subjective.
