It kills me too, I loved her work demolishing some of the most predatory credit card industry practices. It definitely feels like there's something personal there, like a family member getting rugged or something. Scams and other crimes have hurt a lot of people, but tools for protecting users are now outpacing tradfi.

Same. Same. I can only guess that what we as people in the space consider "crypto" is not what outsiders see it as. The rampant speculation and scamming isn't a good look for any of us. At the same time we wonder why outsiders can't distinguish between the power of the tech and the work of bad actors.
