honest question: is there anyone on here who has a concrete, positive vision for Bitcoin? i far as i can tell they are in a tremendous pickle.

this (https://twitter.com/TimBeiko/status/1655629344088408064) + a STARK opcode would make it pretty good!

I think it’s biggest advantage is that it can’t do anything other than describe a value, it’s like an atomic clock for value networks.

- #1 proof of work chain that keeps power grid healthy - Drivechain-enabled sidechains generate more tx fees and thus keep security budget high enough

So long as the market continues to view it as a store of value, I haven't heard a compelling reason for why volatility would NOT decrease to n inconsequential level as scarcity and price increase.

Idk this is why I love BTC. we as web3 natives(fk that sounds cringe) see it as a pickle. TradFi sees it as a scarse asset to manipulate to their benefit. BTC game theory holds

Read Nick Szabo’s blog unenumerated.blogspot.com Bitcoin is designed on unpopular values: resiliency over usability It’s a deliberate choice based on an incredible understanding of how “trustworthy” money worked historically

The only viable narrative of BTC is that it's digital gold And that's not a bad thing

The same with NFTs, if you remove the price chip, it's really useful, think about your driver's licence on a blockchain, cannot be hacked, it's unique and yours. A real estate title can be transfered over different wallets when you buy a house for example. A music show ticket, etc. it's powerful invention

I feel that it's important, the first crypto in the world, set the standards for the future, real use case of the blockchain technology, it was not created to be compared to fiat We need to start thinking about how to apply Blockchain technology to leverage the human being an not try to think as a "price"
