Is anyone on Farcaster using Towns?

Each town is a group chat represented by a smart contract on Base. 

Assuming you could identify all the towns, then you could see how many of the users are on Farcaster.

Neat thing about permissionless / composable / onchain social products.

I tried it. Bad rollout imo.

Currently not possible to add identity… and all accounts are embedded wallets. So I have absolutely no idea who anyone is. 
Why in the world would I join anything, let alone pay? How will people know to join when I start my own? I’m supposed to go recruit them?

I'm confused about this too. $80 in ETH to join the town hall? and even after I link a wallet I can't use that to pay? I did make a @purple town at the lowest entry fee possible if anyone else wants to look at the product.
