Anyone else get annoyed seeing a hyphen (-) that should really have been an en dash (–) or an em dash (—)? (That’s Alt+Hyphen and Alt+Shift+Hyphen respectively if you use an Apple keyboard, FYI.) https://youtu.be/Bd8r7LUiUJA

Loved this. Lately, I’ve been wavering in my use of em dashes—something that long marked my style—in favour of parentheses. I did so because I wasn’t seeing many other writers in the space using them and I wondered if maybe I was being to “creative writing major” in my stylization. Perhaps I’ll pivot back

I sometimes use double en dash in my private writing in terminal as I didn't know there is alt-hyphen keybinding for it. Although, in monospace font they look really similar.
