The Minecraft community is banding together to make a fan-made animated movie where members submit ideas and work for each step of the production pipeline and vote on what makes the cut. Kind of seems like a DAO, except weâre talking about a massive player base and a sprawling, well-established cottage industry of fan-made spin-offs, parodies and creative content. Will be very interesting to see how this coordination effort plays out and whether the end result will be better received than Mojangâs official âA Minecraft Movieâ. https://youtu.be/OeNM2usAGs8

Very curious to see how this goes, considering the span of generations that love Minecraft. Will a 45-year-old want to see the same thing as a 15-year-old in a Minecraft movie? I know there's more diversity in the community than just age, but it's the one that peaks my interest đ€
