214 applications were submitted. After a rigorous review process by the Moxie Experts Council consisting of 32 peer-nominated Farcasters:
107 projects earned grants!
29 Finalists were chosen and now proceed to the DAO voting stage. The finalists will compete for a share of 172,187,500 MOXIE allocated for Finalists grants, min. 2,055,288 each
26 Semi-Finalists: These projects will receive 53,437,500 MOXIE in recognition of their innovative ideas = 2,055,288 each
52 Runners-Up: These projects will be awarded 11,875,000 MOXIE = 228,365 each

DAO Voting for the finalists will take place soon & publicly on snapshot
Voting power is as follows:
Moxie holders = 1 vote
Fan Token holders = 2 votes
Moxie LP = 2 votes
Locked Fan Tokens = 3 votes

people want to feel part of a community, more so than they want to be popular, that's actively engage with shared interests and experiences.
but social media today offer too much media and not nearly enough social.
as users feel more and more disconnected without a way to authentically connect, they instead turn to substacks, patreons, discords, podcast groups, and slacks.
there they find what's missing from mainstream social media: high-quality content, meaningful engagement, opportunities for collaboration, and a sense of belonging.
the issue is that these platforms are siloed and, as a result, the communities are fragmented with everyone forced to start from zero on each one.
