Here's a podcast interview (45 min) for fans of Jenny Odell's book "How To Do Nothing." Love this intro: "In this conversation, we talk about the importance of activities that can’t be optimized — listening to another person, taking care of ourselves, contemplating a new idea — and why truly taking time to pay attention to the little things is an act of resistance." https://hurryslowly.co/jenny-odell/

I read the Medium article linked. Such a gem! 🩵 Loved the #NOMO - necessity of missing out. It's a sibling of $ROBTL - relief of being too late.

Bookmarking to watch it later! Jenny’s book was an important resource in my recovering from burn out - first symptom of said burn out being I started reading the book and couldn’t find time or energy to finish it, despite how much I enjoyed it. Really looking forward to hearing more from her. Thanks for sharing, Danica!

Huge fan of Jenny. I remember hearing her in an interview being asked about all the things she “must want to do” now that How To Do Nothing was such a success. The interviewer was baffled that, no, Jenny was quite fine to not auto-capitalise on the momentum. In fact, she’d prefer not to.
