After having a farewell lunch with @popegrutch I'm now sitting in the Eugene Public Library for a couple more hours until my train back to Portland leaves.

Eugene is my fav city in the US. Every time I have to leave, part of me resists because "Eugene is my home" in some way that defies explanation. 

Even though I was born in Illinois, grew up in Hawai'i, and have lived in Portland for the past 16 years. 🤷‍♀️

For anyone who's been following my casts about my trip to Eugene:

I'm back in Portland safely. Rail travel is the best! I find it so much less stressful than flying and riding in passenger cars.

Of course the first thing I did after returning to my studio was turn on my favorite dark ambient and drone music. 🎶

Thanks! During the trip I bookmarked a whole bunch of casts that I want to revisit, so that's next on the agenda.

Got notified today that I qualified for a $5 reward from Warpcast even though my casting frequency dropped a lot while I was traveling.
