And here's the still image, Nótt, Goddess of Night, to use as a meditative focus, if you like, during your dark moon observances. I added a touch more purple to this image than what's in the video because I just couldn't help myself. 🟣

I'm happy to release the Sanctuary's newest video offering of "Two Prayers to Nótt, Goddess of Night" inspired by the recent post by @danicaswanson, "Hail, The Unsorrowing: Welcoming Nótt." It's under five minutes and includes both a short hail and longer prayer to the goddess. We felt it would be a particularly fitting focus for this month's dark moon incubation retreat theme, which is "the night sky." It's free to view on /zora and also available for minting. I hope you enjoy. And feel free to share with those on your socials that you think would appreciate our content.

Some great tips in this video by Diane Moore. One of my biggest obstacles with putting up videos related to /acrafterscove is fear of looking a fool in front of the camera. And right now, all I really need to do is voiceovers and not even put my face out there. 🙃 Working on the meditation and prayer videos for /blxstonesnctuary has been helpful. I think the biggest takeaway from this video for me right now is to practice for 10 minutes at a time in front of a camera without the expectation to publish but instead increase my comfort level. She's right about the weirdness factor for GenXers, at least for me. I love that technology has helped me work from home, but there's that '70s/'80s kid part of me with a nagging feeling that I should be outside building a fort. But she has some good advice for those of us who want to get better talking on camera. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8LP9ClNbo3M

I'm definitely getting a late start on the pumpkin pie and cranberry sauce. I usually like to make them the night before. All will be well though. Have a great day, everyone.

I told my husband how grateful I was to have some "extra work" this holiday week and he jokingly said we should take a pic of me holding up my keyboard with the text, "Please, sir, I want some more." I'm sure there's a lesson there about the diffrence between the attitudes of people with full-time jobs with benefits and contractors, but I'm too tired to think about it right now. 🙃 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ex2r86G0sdc

Our video with two prayers to the goddess Nott is nearly complete, and we're looking forward to releasing it at the dark moon for use in our (and your) dark moon incubation retreat.

Do you use "fidget" gadgets? I bought these orbs (resin, I think) from an Etsy seller because I stupidly got rid of a set of gorgeous boading balls years ago for some reason. I originally got them for carpal tunnel, but they're great for fidgeting. I don't see the Etsy seller on the platform anymore, but it seems like there's a plethora of fidget tools available now.

You learn something new everyday as the old saying goes. I've been crocheting since I was a kid and I just recently tried using the technique called the Russian join to join two ends of yarn to finish a scarf I'm working on. I absolutely love it! No knots. It makes the piece your working look so much more professional. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nvRoDbpFtXc&list=PLThHoVvXTfmyYquDAV07YCi30qgEa3XX4&index=98

Hey, @danicaswanson, what do you think of this design of a tiny house? It's elegant but cozy at the same time. https://tinyhousetalk.com/her-scandi-tiny-house/
