I'm gearing up to destash/declutter and repaint my home office in a teal and gray theme (shown in the first pic in the link). Disorganization affects my creativity sometimes mainly because my supplies are scattered and I don't have space cleared to work. This will be a weeks' long process as it may involve furniture changes and cleaning out my closet to make more storage space. I'll post before and after pics of the process along the way. We've been discussing the Slow Art Day concept in another SCHQ thread. @danicaswanson is considering hosting one local to her, and I'm considering hosting a virtual one. I'm still thinking on this, but in the meantime, I wanted to share this gem of a program I found at the National Gallery of Art website. It's called The Art of Looking: "Join us for interactive conversations facilitated by National Gallery educators around a single work of art. During these one-hour virtual sessions, you will be invited to share observations, interpretations, questions, and ideas about the works of art." Have you ever heard a quip similar to, "You charge what for that? I can make it myself cheaper." Back when there were craft shows in malls (ancient times, I know, lol), I recall a handcrafted sign placed at the entrace of the show that read: "We know you can, but will you?" IYKYK
