Am I the only one who feels a bit sad reading takes like "yeah, proxystudio made a big mistake in the past, but they were really good to me / my project / the ecosystem"? Feels like people are literally putting personal gain above the harm done to others.

Exactly. If you haven’t owned and accepted the consequences then you haven’t actually taken accountability. 

He lied to his team, community, partners, and prospective investors. Some might consider it fraud. 

He knew what he was doing.
