"Warpcast needs to do a better job with threads"

What does that concretely mean?

How is X / Twitter better? e.g.

I don't see anything wrong with threads on WC except for 2-level deep casts don't show metadata nor "Show more" so I might miss an interesting discussion. I see "Show more" as "more replies to level 1 cast"

here ted's level 1, your's level 2. i can figure.

I wanted to see if ted replied to the next cast of yours.
I'm still not sure if there's even any answer.

now, clicking on "Show more" again finally shows ted's reply.
what's logically broken to me is that:
1. ted's reply wasn't first, as level 1 cast replies were surfaced the first. although I was more interested in level 2 cast reply from ted as you started a dialogue.
2. "Replying to @dwr.eth" seems like a hack to not fall into multi-depth tree like cast conversation that converts the thing into a reddit like experience (can't say I don't like it though, it's ok)

Either of those have to be improved imo.

this UI would imo be understood much easier
