Here’s a quick update on Lil Grey. He’s home from the hospital but still in critical condition😿 he’s very anemic, his kidney levels are high, and he has no energy 😔 Last night, he tried to walk but collapsed, which was really scary. The vet said that he needs complete rest, so I set up a small space in the living room since he doesn’t like the bedroom. He’s getting iron, vitamins, antibiotics and fluid therapy three times a week. He sleeps a lot but is in good spirit🙏🏻 Unfortunately, he’s not eating on his own😬 so I’m feeding him wet food with a syringe. His surgery will have to wait until he’s stronger 💪🏻 but for now he’s on pain meds. Hoping he improves soon! 😸🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I hate to say this, but reality is that kidney failures ain't something that can be reverted. You gotta be ready for everything but your dedication and love to this little buddy is beyond admirable. You got to know that you're lighting up his life. Stay strong 🙏❤️

I hope a speedy recovery for little dude, honestly I feel more for the furry kids then I do most humans. Hardest thing to work through is the fact that animals for the most part are absolutely helpless once they are injured. Any friend of an animal is a friend of mine. Keep doing what you’re doing because not only is little grey a friend for life you have me as a friend for life.
