Here’s a quick update on Lil Grey. He’s home from the hospital but still in critical condition😿 he’s very anemic, his kidney levels are high, and he has no energy 😔 Last night, he tried to walk but collapsed, which was really scary. The vet said that he needs complete rest, so I set up a small space in the living room since he doesn’t like the bedroom. He’s getting iron, vitamins, antibiotics and fluid therapy three times a week. He sleeps a lot but is in good spirit🙏🏻 Unfortunately, he’s not eating on his own😬 so I’m feeding him wet food with a syringe. His surgery will have to wait until he’s stronger 💪🏻 but for now he’s on pain meds. Hoping he improves soon! 😸🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I hope a speedy recovery for little dude, honestly I feel more for the furry kids then I do most humans. Hardest thing to work through is the fact that animals for the most part are absolutely helpless once they are injured. Any friend of an animal is a friend of mine. Keep doing what you’re doing because not only is little grey a friend for life you have me as a friend for life.

Aww your words really touched my heart 🥺💜💜💜 I understand what you mean. I feel sorry for all the animals because they can't ask for help😔💔 But you know, they are so grateful when someone tries to help them. When I first met Lil Grey he was so aggressive and scared of humans 💔 It took several months for him to finally trust me 🥺🫶🏻 Now he's like a whole new cat ❤️🩹
