Here’s a quick update on Lil Grey. He’s home from the hospital but still in critical condition😿 he’s very anemic, his kidney levels are high, and he has no energy 😔 Last night, he tried to walk but collapsed, which was really scary. The vet said that he needs complete rest, so I set up a small space in the living room since he doesn’t like the bedroom. He’s getting iron, vitamins, antibiotics and fluid therapy three times a week. He sleeps a lot but is in good spirit🙏🏻 Unfortunately, he’s not eating on his own😬 so I’m feeding him wet food with a syringe. His surgery will have to wait until he’s stronger 💪🏻 but for now he’s on pain meds. Hoping he improves soon! 😸🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I hate to say this, but reality is that kidney failures ain't something that can be reverted. You gotta be ready for everything but your dedication and love to this little buddy is beyond admirable. You got to know that you're lighting up his life. Stay strong 🙏❤️

I know, but before he fractured his leg he was perfectly fine. His health worsened because he stopped eating his renal food due to the pain😔 which caused his kidney levels to spike. That led to anemia, and his body started to shut down to the point where we almost lost him. But now that he's receiving treatment and eating his usual food again, his levels should return to what they were before. He’ll still have his kidney condition, but at least it will be under control😸🙏🏻 Thank you for your words.
