Most VR users are gamers and young

Also NFTs proved that you can flex 6 fig digital assets (jpegs)

Really a minority case in this specific context

To address your other point about the majority of the world not being rich, agreed! She and I disagreed because she said, “Just getting everyone making $10/hour isn’t reaching scale as a business.”

Great point re: digital flexing being >= physical flexing! I brought that up with her as well.

Her main argument was that “the only people who will spend a lot of time in the metaverse are those who like it more than their real lives),” which limits its upside in her eyes (1/2)
