To address your other point about the majority of the world not being rich, agreed! She and I disagreed because she said, “Just getting everyone making $10/hour isn’t reaching scale as a business.”

great point! But what incentivizes those higher on the “value” graph of a scarce resource to join a platform that equalizes those standout features?

Those people (influencers, celebrities, etc) are ultimately those who drive outsized value, particularly in social games (1/2)

Because none of those things are zero sum in meatverse or metaverse, but is exponentially decaying in the meatverse for at least two of those factors. Equalizing out the other properties, the metaverse makes merit the social currency.

There are unique status games for every reality

She’s not wrong in that the metaverse is the great equalizer.

I think that her point of everyone wanting those “qualities” is exactly the bullish case for the metaverse.
