Most VR users are gamers and young

To address your other point about the majority of the world not being rich, agreed! She and I disagreed because she said, “Just getting everyone making $10/hour isn’t reaching scale as a business.”

… I do think it’s fair to say the “shortcuts” or “entertainment incentives” to mass adoption (celebs, influencers, etc) aren’t properly incentivized to join, and I don’t know if or how that will change (2/2)
