My guess is Alonso is most likely to take this seat. All part of El Plan.

Maybe it’s a piss take, but they’re going to continue going backwards by hiring another older driver. It’s time to rip off the bandaid and start rebuilding with their next Hamilton. Unfortunately that may just not be George Russel.

Kimi + Russell no way imo. But to your point, Russell might not be the guy to bet the future on. If Toto goes for someone more experienced like Sainz (IF he can convince him to), maybe a Sainz + Kimi couple is not a bad idea...
