My guess is Alonso is most likely to take this seat. All part of El Plan. Merc progress has been too backwards to impress the likes of Max or Carlos.

Maybe it’s a piss take, but they’re going to continue going backwards by hiring another older driver. It’s time to rip off the bandaid and start rebuilding with their next Hamilton. Unfortunately that may just not be George Russel.

Haha Kimi is a wildcard here. I wonder if Toto’s financial stake in Merc is making the team more short sighted. If the car can’t win they settle for celeb drivers to capture marketing $$. Vs doing the smarter thing general suggested and rebuild a new dynasty with new faces.
