Did we rotate out of the H-1B meta already?

Given its lack of staying power / relatively quick decline in the public discourse, I wonder if it was manufactured controversy (that Vivek’s post gave credence to)

Also could be a signal that the incoming coalition is fairly strong / united

There is a big chance all this noise on H1Bs just fizzles out in a couple of weeks. 

In the off chance it does not it’s time to reset it anyway.
