Interesting debate starting about the Ballon d'Or (player of the season). Should Messi get it for the World Cup, or Mbappe for his WC efforts + a stronger Ligue Un showing, or Haaland for his superhuman PL + UCL showing? Personally I think I prefer Mbappe, but interested to hear people's thoughts (Counts last season)

Can't think of any reason why it wouldn't be haaland Except sentimental bullshit. Was Messi even the best player at the world cup or just the best story?
