what is the golden standard for self custody personal setups these days?

currently thinking 2/3 multisig with 2 hot wallets across 2 devices and 1 ledger

Personally I don’t recommend using hot wallets or multi-sigs that way

I use hot wallets as hot wallets, basic hardware wallets as cold wallets, and a more complex “ice cold” storage that takes quite a bit to unravel

As opposed to what? 

Yeah it’s kind of nice, eggs in one basket and watch basket

But I have several wallets and different risks and tradeoffs with each

but still everything is EOAs, right?

do you feel comfortable with having just one secret phrase controlling all your networth?
