Would you pay $10/mo to not worry about gas or mint fees on Farcaster? https://farcaster.dep.dev/poll/65ce1e4522bf8c40449eefff Will tip $DEGEN if you comment with your thought process. ๐Ÿค๐ŸŽฉ

I would but itโ€™s unlikely to be sustainable. Zora fees plus gas is costing me like $20+ per week now. And if I thought it was covered, Iโ€™d mint way more. So whoโ€™s paying the fees?

Yes, a big fan of SaaS models, esp for loyalty. Also, who here doesn't have a subscription for UberEats and I definitely mint more than I eat/delivery.

I'll be interested to see how much EIP 4844 impacts Base gas fees in about a month from now before saying yes or no. It's possible that it won't be worth it to all but the most prolific minters. And also, can i pay the $10 in Eth or Degen? Might further impact desire ๐Ÿ˜†

At this early phase Iโ€™m not sure I would use it enough to matter but as it grows and evolves definitely would take it into consideration.

Not really โ€” I usually pay with warps and donโ€™t mint anything else, given such a high portion can be minted with warps But also I donโ€™t mint that often. Perhaps there is an opportunity for free non warps mints, because buying warps is a hassle and I donโ€™t have enough

I'd be especially interested if it supported more stuff than what's currently possible with warps. E.g. Fabric subs paid with a tap from the feed and charged to my CC

I have the feeling itโ€™s similar to real estate - finding properties is free for everyone - and it does not matter if you have a 5x solution users will not pay. But businesses are happy to. They want less hassle. So I would start there.

I've got my wallet optimised for gas, I don't spend more than 10p a month. What do you mean by mint fees? $10 to mint anything I like on Zora from warpcast without mint fees direct from FC? I'd bite your hand off, but that can't be it.

I hit depends but as I think about it, probably makes sense considering that I love minting here, and spend the most time here of any other platform, so switching ny answer to yes.

bridging cost trumps monthly minting cost. brain cycle cost of cross-chain balance management trumps both. would def pay $10.

My thought process is that everyone is here for different reasons. It'd be like car insurance where you're pay for other people's gas fees if you want to be here for things other than minting NFTs. That being said, it there were other benefits other than spam control, I'd be open to it.

Currently wouldn't be worth it for me, tbh. Another subscription sounds rather nah. Which mint fees would it cover? Can't possibly be L1 ETH but rather L2 Base, Zora...or what would be covered by the fee exactly?

1000 $DEGEN I want to mint more but click out of most free mints as the gas fees stack up over time. I might even be inclined to pay closer to $15.

yes bc I like to forecast my digital subs cost and dislike surprises. Guess it is typical web2 thinking which is what you want for onboarding the masses, right?

I would like the option to pay either myself for the gas fees or to contribute to a pool which generates earnings, which are used to cover gas costs. I want to get away from fiat in web3 products, otherwise whatโ€™s the point?
