FC is in an interesting place right now. Engagement seems to have dropped by a fair deal with DEGEN tipping meta falling off. Base memecoins and mints not doing as hot and general market sentiment on Twitter is that there's not much worth buying. Hype around new features like Frames have cooled off quite a bit. I'm still more bullish on FC than ever but no denying that from the outside people are wondering what's going on here. Anyone else feel this sentiment or just me?

Kind of agree, but DAUs dont change much.. The problem with engagement is that the feed is broken and shows casts old as fuck.. Hence, nobody sees your new casts, nobody interacts and so it gets even worse😂

market down, so we're in the post-FC mania doldrums, but engagement is up a bit recently no one on the outside cares what we are doing, but I'm excited to be here doing stuff they will care about one day, with a lot of other talented people like yourself

same, but feels like it's building up for the next wave longer-term applications take significantly longer to materialize, tho they feel immediate at the tipping point 1. new unlock -> immediate spike in interest, lots of short-term experiments 2. short term experiments fizzle out, low hanging fruit explored 3. long term applications start to appear, steadier growth think we're between 2 and 3 right now for tipping and frames, but I'm not sure what their 3s look like (ponder is a good example of 3 for poll frames)

FC ≠ Warpcast We haven’t seen any really powerful clients other then Warpcast but once people realize what is actually being built here these networks will be super valuable imho

From a Web3 perspective, your opinion is certainly correct. However, my Web2 friends found FC intriguing when I told them about it. They are artists and seem to be tired of Instagram. I'll be onboarding them soon.

I think Degen will persist with peaks and valleys of interest. I think there is general malaise after the recent market wide dip, but if Bitcoin can finally break out of this range in the next few months, interest will follow. Plus you never know what new feature will drop on FC that will capture attention

I see farcaster growing in accelerated cycles similar to crypto 4 yr cycle but on a quarterly cadence instead of years Frames and degen were an accelerant for the first cycle but over extended as our crypto compadres like to operate on extremes. The platform has realistically grown 3 - 10x from Jan despite the inflated numbers from bots. New ppl, new experiments and the soil is fertile Still bullish as ever

I'm giving it a try after EthCC, but after a few days not sure what to feel to be honest. I really like some of its concepts, i think channels are a great thing to start proper discussions and conversations... But so far i haven't really got any kind of real engagement back, and I've been trying to be actively engaging in discussions and convos. It kinda feels like interactions aren't really deep. Just engagement or reward farming... It feels a bit weird...
