The biggest muscle I've been training is to be genuinely happy for other people's success. It's so easy to get jealous or to feel like you could do better or a ton of other negative emotions or reactions. At the end of the day people winning helps you win too. Stay positive and it will always come back to you.

if im honest with myself, this is one of the hardest for me. there is like this existential grasping to inner criticism that arises from the constant comparison with others. if they succeed, i see my failures. not their success. it is great to read that im not the only one. how do you practically train this muscle?

Whenever I notice myself experiencing those negative emotions I take note of why. I liken it to missing a jump shot in basketball - it's easy to get in your head about it and let it affect future shots or you can practice having a short memory and getting back on your feet and confident in your next one.
