I'm curious when the first FC client will allow for monetization, and what it will look like.

A handful of folks I've chatted with lately are drawn to Lens due to the coupling between social & finances. I don't think that's necessarily the right approach, but it's an approach nonetheless.

That's interesting - I was thinking more about consumer-facing products built on FC but indeed infra could be applicable here too.

I'm still trying to get my head around how people interact with FC, and the existing tools and apps - as it's so different to the closed loop that twitter et al has for the mere mortal. I'll be keeping up with this thread to see where the conversation goes, endlessly fascinating.
