most romantics will ask the question “what is your perfect sunday?” because they saw some version of it in the New York Times’ The 36 Questions That Lead to Love or because it caught their eye in Hinge’s automated written prompts or maybe because that line from Hot Fuzz always makes them giggle.

and most romantics will answer that very question with some idealized version of a seemingly glorious sabbath day. always idyllic, sometimes whimsical, but never practical.

i, too, am a romantic. i, too, love to dream.

but, for me, the perfect sunday isn’t one that can be dreamt up.

the perfect sunday is the one you didn’t know you needed until that moment in bed, right before you close your eyes.

I also enjoyed this from @ted ...especially how she broke it at 7 sentences int he preview and then you had to read inline. It created an interesting shift for me.

hi im naomi, im a triple jumper from the UK

3 years ago i was in a pretty difficult position

I missed out on the Tokyo olympics by 10cm , I lost my main sponsor and I was at risk of losing ALL my national funding if i didn’t place top 8 at a major championship

 then i came across a TikTok video about crypto (thx gary vee) 

When lead me to creating the NFT collection AfroChicks ( hence my username) 

the sales of my artwork covered all my expenses and training camps for the 2022 season 

where i jumped 6 personal bests and won my first senior international medal at the commonwealth games in this video below! 

this is the power of onchain creator economy i really wanna put more athletes on!!

over the past year and a half I’ve struggled with injury, had two surgeries l, missed the olympics again and took a break from crypto 

but im back, more motivated and ready to connect with new people and document my athletics journey onchain!
