Why doesn’t Nouns use a tool like Snapshot for elections and big votes? It’s a pretty standard for most major DAOs. Agora has already done a nice job integrating this into their governance feeds.

It feels like the Duna reserve role could have been handled through a tool like Snapshot (and maybe some other proposals too) before being moved onchain.

Tradeoffs for sure. Have to answer would more surface area create more clarity? and does the benefit outweigh the cost?

yea i dont see benefit tbh and adding yet another site/platform to check/interface with sucks imo

what benefits do you see / what problem are we trying to solve?

improving transparency, reducing waste, and building trust 

i.e.  elections should be crystal clear. Voters need to understand what they’re voting for, who the candidates are, and the specific roles they’re filling.
