V helpful. Some thoughts: 

1) Be explicit: "On this team, we hire for trustworthiness and we fire for lack thereof"

2) Teach the importance of trust x team performance (Brené Brown + Amy Edmondson)

3) Use 360º assessments to identify what people are doing that builds trust and vice versa

4) Provide coaching

Create positive and negative incentives that motivate more individual trustworthy behavior.

Make it easier to be trustworthy, and more painful to break one’s own standards of trustworthiness.
