A good reminder on importance of getting something to market “because everything else before that is just practice” Though @brxckinridge talks ab this in a product context w/ Zora, I think the principles hold true for service offerings, esp wrt ruthless customer engagement https://warpcast.com/colin/0xcba15341

Granted my product experience is even more limited than my service experience (never brought a product to market), I can attest to the risk of solipsism or insular feedback loops before actually getting exposed to (and actually listening to) direct market feedback.

There is a hermetic part of me that likes the process of workshopping in and of itself haha, i.e. I need a good forcing function (like the need for income) to move beyond that practice phase.

I will say tho there’s a marketable skill and service in workshopping. Being able to work through ideas and problems on your own can translate to facilitation skills, which corpo orgs pay big bucks for (eg one I was at had a consultant on a $13k monthly retainer and all he did was facilitate workshops like 15h/mo)
