There’s a clear consensus emerging that the technology we are using everyday is harming us. It’s fragmenting our attention and turning our time into time-confetti. It’s radicalizing us and polarizing us to a degree that is destabilizing to society. 

Is it so crazy to want technology and systems that are designed to be responsive to my higher goals rather than my lizard brain?

Exactly! Time for people to wake up and demand / design better. Because there’s so much potential

No it’s not. 

I think it would be so much easier if technology is made to work WITH us and not ON us.

I hope people of the future look back on this tech and are horrified… like when we look at things of the past like radioactive glassware and asbestos.

They say that the technology/devices we use today are a "tool" to help us.. atleast thats what were supposed to believe?

Was referring to the part of me that thinks more long term and holistically, with my wellbeing and goals in mind. And uncovering, creating, developing that vision is something I want tech to help me do!

not crazy, and decentralized social networks are likely the only path to get there (as long as we design the right incentives instead of just copying legacy media's..)
