Hot/annoying take re: consumer crypto such as Rodeo and Zora: ~$0.26 per mint is still way too much for the average user to casually mint what they like at scale. How many posts do I like on IG/minute? Maybe 3-5. This = ~$1 per minute in crypto land. Don't get me wrong, I love the apps and I know it is the network, not them. But I still think about these things.

an argument would be that likes are not equivalent to mints. it’s natural to want them to be, but they can’t be if 4 costs $1.

Even if they aren’t equivalent, 4 costing $1 is pretty pricey DRiP house costs $0.01 per mint, for example

i agree btw. imo still kinda beneficial for creators in this way, incentivizing folks to creat/post. idk i may be just rationalizing the irrational tho lol to your point, if i wasn’t already indoctrinated, id see the cost to mint and prolly be like wtf?
