The main thing that I find myself looking for is the way to become a member. From my experience there are lots of different ways (gated, not possible, free to enter etc.) but it's actually not clear if and how I can join.

Some channels have it as a link, some others as a pinned cast but there is no clear and standardized path.

I'd like to add a bigger-picture perspective here: It would be good if channels had an obvious place where they could add some info about how the channel runs. Norms, how to join, who the mods are, relevant background info, etc. On reddit we find this in the right side bar of each sub-reddit.

I realize most people won't read rules. But if they are there I can point people to them when I moderate their casts or otherwise ask for changed behavior. Without rules posted somewhere I have to type the same explanation over and over. Also, I would think broader than just rules. Some channels may want to provide relevant background info etc. I've seen it used widely on Reddit and always thought it was a great idea and resource.

Not sure about the best UI on mobile. Could be hidden under the kebab menu on the top of the channel, or available via swipe from the right or left, just like we get the channel list via swipe from the left in the home feed.

How would having rules change things? Which specific channels have you come across that you wish had this?

2. You have to model that 85% of Warpcast usage is on mobile.
