gm, if you don't know the story behind 10k steps, you're in for a treat japanese scientists hooked up step counters to japanese office workers because japenese office workers were healthier than other countries they got 8k steps on average usa heart doctors looked at this data and said us can do better and added 2k

10k steps has no scientific causality data, and even worse — research points at the fact that there are diminishing returns *after 3500 steps a day* us doctors, once again, gave people false confidence that people are doing right things to stay healthy, while hiding true reasons behind obesity and coronary disease

like with recycling and climate change — plastic companies literally knowingly lied to all of us, recycling had no prospect of working at all yet we recycle in vain while leaving the true causes of climate change — fossil fuels and eating meat — without any action whatsoever

so what do you do to avoid heart disease? 1. give up on sugar 2. give up on sodium 3. give up on animal products it is that simple yet the notion is *so* alien to americans like giving up cigarettes was in 80s — that the surgeon general literally says that no one would listen if they said to stop eating meat

because your mind cannot be changed by any amount of evidence, otherwise it would have been different by now due to sheer overwhelming amount of science behind these facts but, well, humans are incapable of rationally changing their opinions

Stating there is science !== showing us the science. Are you referring to LDL and its effect on endothelial health? Why is that more/less convincing than the effect of processed foods / sugars? Use this “science” you claim to leverage (:

ok, let's try that! prove me wrong! here's an overwhelming collection of peer-reviewed studies showing insane mortality decrease by simply stopping eating animals magicpill.link when can we expect you to stop killing living beings for food?

Bro this is a paywall. I am not going to pay for information that should be free. You can also use your words to give me the causal mechanisms for your claims.
