Very very carb heavy, barely any protein It worked well when our ancestors (not that long ago, includes my parents) used to work on farms on a daily basis and do heavy manual labour But in today's world its horrible Search for the indian skinny fat pandemic

Global south has this problem I think due to the abundance and availability of genetically modified foods that were drought resistant. Americans subsidize an absurd amount of corn, rice, and wheat but for little return on quality of life..

Perhaps, yeah. Though most of what we eat here isnt coming from American farms. Its just what we eat. Ton of breads and rice and measly protein sources
