the UI/UX for my major bank is awfully confusing, and some of the decisions are unnecessary or outdated. for example, i used to dig through statement PDFs to get account and routing numbers.

transfer cash out of interest bearing accounts into checking, but honestly don’t really use it more than 2-3 times per month

Are there any delays in the time it takes to do transfers? Do you direct deposit into the interest bearing and then out to utility account like checking or how does it get into interest bearing position?

no, nothing consequential. if you have liquidity issues, there are many services for that. and yes to the second. it doesn’t make any sense to me why banks don’t have user automations to address that.
