The day after the election, all the hate and divisive content was immediately dialed back. Twitter's algo pre-Elon had political parties as part of its signals, so likely he's trying to reduce that content in the feed mix so their retention stops tanking.

The dude endorsed the AfD he deserves retention going to zero

Is it documented that political affiliation is being used to up or down-rank content on twitter?  I totally believe it is, but wondering if there's more to it than speculation.
