went camping with a bunch of dads this summer and decided i want kids 30 years of being staunchly opposed, and it more or less vanished after one weekend in the woods with a bunch of guys that were only there to escape the obligations they'd created for themselves and i... decided i want that been processing it for weeks now, but i haven't talked myself out of it yet anyone else have a change of heart about kids later in life?

Can't speak for anyone else and won't make recommendations or anything like that. But personally, I never thought I'd have a family of my own. Even after getting married I always thought I'd screw it up being a father. But I had my daughter and she was very sick and I just went full Dad mode. Months of being with her at night in the hospital and then work during the day. When she finally came home, she'd be on my chest with me in meetings or watching TV or walking around outside or whatever... and man, I'd literally give anything, anything to do that again. Being a Dad fills your heart.
