Tbh I'd just put it all in wstETH. I don't like bitcoin because of the electronic waste. I don't think I like any L1 more than ETH, because I feel L2s offer enough of what I need. I might put it all down as a down payment for a flat in my town, because of higher interest rates, people won't be able to afford as much. Disclaimer: My actual allocation differs extremely what I wrote here, but because of the new 50k I think I'd act that way.

50% BTC 50% ETH BTC is holding up quite well even in this environment. Fundamentals haven’t changed for ETH. If you have long-term conviction, stake for 3.5% APY. Can also substitute ETH for some $COIN as a proxy for Base

going a lil off piste here from the rest. the thesis is that the coming four years will shake up finance, so get into some equities + stocks that give you leverage there without being fully tied into 'crypto.' Model is $10K a piece, one goes at least 10X, sort of a VC type model. - $HOOD (Robinhood) for exposure to traders in the US - $COIN (Coinbase) cuz they should prosper once a regulatory framework is hammered out - $BNKR (Bankr) gives you exposure to Agents + Robo brokerage - $DEGEN (Degen) gives you exposure to consumer social - $NU (Nubank in Brazil) hybrid Fintech/Crypto player, a lil emerging markets exposure for fun.

Here's how I'd split a new 50k bag today: 20k Eth (spot) 20k defi blue chips (Aave, Mkr, Uni roughly evenly split) 5k Clanker 5k Bankr With a target to double the portfolio by summer and cash out 50k. Currently my portfolio is like 50% Clanker, a bit less Bankr and random stuff. I totally failed to de-risk, thinking those 2 would hold up better since they had been so far until this week. I went 10k to 3k this past month or two, if I can get back to 10k I'll be thrilled. If I had played it right I'd be trying to go 10 to 50 for a down payment but oh well.
