Seriously, what is the bear case for Ethereum? 

Is it

1. not enough wallets?
2. not enough liquidity? 
3. not enough tech velocity? 

I'm confused!!

Do you not believe that L2 is a solution?

It’s clear,the biggest issue is scalability and high fees when number of transactions increases, hope eth 2.0. Solves this.

I was talking to a KOL from Solana. They are going to embrace L2s themselves by the end of this year.

Friction. On Solana, Solana means Solana. Most users give up when you start talking about L2s.

Also, in order for Solana to win, Ethereum doesn't have to lose... and vice versa.

sol is cheap & easy

eth is expensive & hard

That's fixable, no? 

I was at a Solana KOL program at Superteam. They are funding remote work spaces in many cities and most folks get together to discuss how they can grow Solana. 

So, Ethereum foundation can also come up with something similar. It should be easy.
