our situation in tehran!
today i went out for something urgent, got stopped and searched by security forces 3 times, the air was extremely polluted, and there was a strange heaviness over the city, came back home
before i left, there was a 2 hour power outage, when i got back, again no electricity for another 2 hours, all in 40 degree heat
almost every website and app is blocked, every day, we spend hours of our time, energy, and nerves just testing different vpns, hoping one might work
sometimes i feel like maybe i was a criminal in a past life, and now i’m paying for it, constant suffering, with no way out, but this isn’t new, from the moment i stepped into society, this has been our life 5 replies

aromatic herbs (chives, parsley, dill, cilantro, all finely chopped), iranian stores have them ready like uniqop in the usa, eggs, chopped walnuts, barberries, salt and pepper, put them all together in a bowl and stir for 2-3 minutes with a spoon
pour some oil into a pan and let it get really hot, because if the oil isn’t hot enough it will stick to the pan, keep the heat low and let it cook for 7-8 minutes, i slice it, but you can flip the whole thing with two spatulas, now let it cook on very low heat for 4-5 minutes and it’s done
when you flip it, since the barberries are on the same side, if the heat isn’t very low the barberries will discolor and look bad, also leave the pan a little open, just a few millimeters, so the herb moisture can steam while cooking
for two people: 100 grams of herbs, 3 eggs, a handful of barberries and chopped walnuts, a quarter teaspoon of salt and black pepper
iranians mostly eat it with rice but it can be eaten with bread too, yogurt on the side is very good

if you’re into keeping plants at home, download the plantiary app, all you need to do is take a photo, it uses ai to tell you the name of the plant, its family, care requirements, and what it needs to grow better
even better, if your plant looks unhealthy,,like yellow leaves or spots, plantiary can diagnose the issue from the image and suggest the best solution
another really useful feature is that you can save your plants in the app, based on the species, it gives you a personalized care schedule for watering, fertilizing, repotting or pruning, it reminds you with notifications too
it has a chatbot, you can ask more specific questions, like what kind of light a certain plant prefers, and it gives you accurate answers 6 replies

about one month ago, i went on a two day work trip to another city, i had an old friend there , she told me: use my car to get your stuff done, it’ll be easier
i was driving when this car flew past me at a crazy speed, out of control, swerving all over the place
and then — boooom — that same car came crashing down from above right onto my friend’s car
the guy’s arm was completely wrecked, people pulled him out, he was soooo high, totally hallucinating, yelling at me ( why did you cut me off? 😂 )
then he started chasing me! people had to step in and save me 😭 6 replies
