When you don't need strict global consensus, stateless infra is significantly more efficient, more decentralized and plain superior to blockchains https://polynya.mirror.xyz/MChed2Qo4aiD7zwgWvGNpkCXmUbESCf7stjJe2h_TRk

Excited to read / learn more about "stateless" infra From my understanding (which may be wrong) Farcaster Hubs come to a loose consensus on the current state of the social network. Because it's loose and not strict it's considered stateless?

Yeah, basically. I understand that "state" has a broader meaning, which is why I'm unsure about using the word "stateless". The key difference is there can be multiple variations of Farcaster Hubs that eventually converge, while in blockchains there must be a strict state transition everyone agrees to in real time
